Building a new home in Pakenham East VIC
Pakenham East is being built from paddocks under a precinct structure plan approved on 2 January 2021, with something close to 7,000 homes planned across roughly 6.3 square kilometres between Deep Creek, Ryan Road, Mount Ararat North Road and the Princes Freeway. Ridgelea, Maple Grove and Kala are all releasing stages into that plan at the same time, which means trades move between sites on tight programs. The pattern we record is not poor workmanship so much as work closed in before it was finished: fixings counted short, bracing nailed to the wrong pattern, a barrier that stops before the slab edge.
